I have discovered that “how I do anything is how I do everything”. This is not a new idea, it was just revolutionary for me. Three years ago, I took up pickleball and discovered what I’m calling TRANSFORMATIVE PLAY ®. Every single thing I thought I knew from playing decades of tennis, and living for a very long time, was suddenly in my face. Moment by moment with a wiffle ball flying towards me. It has been a very interesting journey to unlearn everything I thought I knew about myself. I have spent three years beginning to master this game five days a week, and playing seven days a week. That’s a lot.

What I have learned is who I am, really who I am. Over the next year, I’m going to be launching a podcast and keynote speaking, where we get to talk and support each other while living our lives.

I’d love to hear from you. I firmly believe that knitting can be transformative, cooking can be transformative, crocheting, which I hate, can be transformative, and bowling, which breaks my fingernails, can be transformative. In other words, everything we put our time, energy, and resources into, with passion and commitment, is a vehicle for transformation. Let’s talk!
